Well, with this post we made it into the New Year.. 2019. Wow that's crazy! But that is not what makes this date so special.
This date marks two special events. One, it was your birthday and you graciously let me spend the day with you. We watched the Colts beat the Texans 21-7 which was a great birthday present for you considering you love the Colts so much.
Number two, well that is a little more personal. This day also marks our first time. Things had been heating up between us at this point and honestly, it probably would have happened sooner for us, but we never really got ample opportunity for things to happen like it did that night. But God did I love that night with you. Even the parts were we sat on my couch and cried about having to leave each other, because at least I got to be with you. That night we got to be vulnerable together for the first time. Honestly and genuinely vulnerable with each other. I will never forget that night.
