Here is the breakdown of our weekend together over Valentine's Day/at your Aunt and Uncle's for their Stock the Bar Party...
Friday: I got ready for you to get here from USI. I was so nervous... it was our first Valentine's Day together and we hadn't even been dating that long. I remember driving all over the place. First to Meijer for food and drinks. Then to Target for decorations. And finally to Olive Garden for breadsticks to go with dinner. I made pasta for us and created a cute set up in my room (pictures to come). I hope you liked it. It took forever to set up ;)
We had a wonderful evening eating carbs, drinking wine, and stuffing our faces with chocolate-covered strawberries that I made myself and even covered in sprinkles just. for. you.
Saturday: I met your dad and Karen for the first time. I was nervous as hell and let's be honest, Karen can be extremelyyyyy intimidating. We drove to Cincinnati and I met Angie, Craig, the kids, Skylar and Nick. They were a lot for the first time meeting them ;) but good thing we drank a lot. and when I say we drank a lot, we drank A LOT. But it was a very fun night and of course one we can never forget because of BEANS.BEANS. BEANS. We talked to Emily about being gay and I can't even remember what she told us. That whole night is a pretty big blur.
Sunday: We headed back to Muncie with your dad and Karen. Said our goodbyes and you left the next morning. The goodbyes are getting harder and harder.
